Walking Fridays

  • Lafayette Cross Country Trail Exit 36, 93S Franconia Notch Park, NH United States (map)
Roz teaches about mushrooms - she knows her stuff

Roz knows her mushrooms! She is a PROFESSIONAL!

The next walk is special! Roz Lowen will lead us in a very interesting and educational stroll through the woods identifying and collecting mushrooms. As many of you know, Roz is extremely knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have.

We will meet on Friday, August 18th at 9:30 AM at the Notch Way Trail in Franconia. There is a parking lot with a sign that says Lafayette Campground Cross Country Trail.

As always, bring water, bug spray, walking sticks if you use them.

And let us know you are coming - we don’t want to leave. you behind!

Directions:

Take I-93 South from Bethlehem to Exit 36.

  • Go left (East) at the end of the exit ramp.

  • In about 100 yards there will be a parking lot on the right that says Lafayette Campground Cross Country Ski Trail. There may be some construction vehicles there, but we’ll find places to park.

  • (If you are traveling north from the Lincoln area, still take Exit 36. The trail will be on the left shortly after getting off the exit.)

  • For more information, watch for your BHC email or write to BethlehemShul@gmail.com.
